Dick Otke is a native of Jefferson City and has lived in Jefferson City his entire life. After graduating from Helias High School and then Lincoln University with a degree in Business, Dick worked for the Secretary of State’s office. Dick and his brother, Louie, became partners in 1974 founding the company now incorporated as Dick Otke Construction Company.
Over the years, Dick has been involved in the creation of many partnerships that have influenced the development and growth of Jefferson City. These partnerships developed Wildwood Crossing Shopping Center, Capital Plaza West, Northstar Subdivision in Holts Summit, Stonehill Office Park, Creek Trail Center and many other projects leased by local businesses and the State of Missouri. The construction of all these projects was by Dick Otke Construction Company.
Dick is a member of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce and Central Missouri Home Builders Association.
Dick is married to Dedie and has one child, Brandy Lippert. She and her husband, Gregg, have two sons, Zac and Luke, and reside in St Louis, MO.
